This will summon another form of yourself which will stand on the pressure pad while you run down the right side (where the gate to your 'save haven' is) and go in the locked door. There's also a secret wall within the aforementioned area, make sure to keep a look out for it.Īs for the pressure pad/button with the blue symbol on it, you'll need to use your Prayer ability while standing on it. I personally didn't get anything good from this little secret area, but I did get a human skull and some keys that are quest items. Clear the two blind dudes out from the bottom of the stairs near the gate and use this as your new 'safe haven', careful cause there is a spider near by. Careful of the guy with the sword, he can two hit you. Start by going down to the right, this area has a gate that will lead back out to where the black crystal/portal is. You'll need to be more careful further inside the cave, however. Once all my potions were gone, I'd go save to refill them.

If the spider nailed me, I'd run out to the middle room and drink a potion. I'd pummel them with heavy attack over and over again, getting a good repetition going and interrupting their attack in the process. What I did to kill the spiders was lure them to the entrance of the secret area, or close to it. This can work for any enemy in the early part of the game. I two handed the Monk Staff, which is a graciously OP weapon at this level and it can trigger a never ending chain attack, regardless if you run out of stamina. I got through it as a level 19 executioner with relative ease. There are five of them in total, and one dude with a sword who will get you real fast. You may need to try it a couple times to get it to work. Break it by pressing sprint and block at the same time. Across from the chest is a breakable wall. Then in the middle room of this room, you'll see a tooltip letting you know about secret areas.

There are even secrets within this secret chamber, so be aware for all your future secret hunding endeavors!įirst: Where is it? You'll come to a stairwell after the first boss battle and you'll see two wooden doors, one of which you can enter.

It's a pretty good adrenaline rush going through!
